No Right to Pray

Cracked Grace
No Right to Pray
Too-long absent from God, I think I have no right to approach Him—even on my knees—with prayers, requests, my voice crying out, “Help me!”
Maybe that’s when God most wants to hear from us, when we’re humbled, when we’ve stopped our Earth-limited efforts to fix our lives.
A humble heart opens us when we approach God, who is ready to listen and welcome us back. Perhaps that’s when it is, indeed, right to pray.
